Hello from CBK’s! We hope you are safe and well. We’ve been watching government advice and have considered carefully some innovative options: ‘contactless hires’, stringent hygiene regimes and more. But in reality, doing what we do will always involve a degree of contact between our team and our customers and we’re not willing to put anyone at risk.
We also must consider that all water sports carry a heightened risk of injury whilst participating. With health and emergency services already stretched to their maximum, we don’t want to add to their burden should an incident occur. From today our shop is closed and all activities are suspended until Friday 17 April 2020. We may have to extend this closure further; we will review this on an ongoing basis. We’ll be in touch with all customers whose booking is likely to be affected as soon as possible.
What happens if I have a booking between now and Friday 17 April 2020?
We’ll be in touch with you by email setting out the available options. You can:
- Reschedule your booking for later in the year
- Accept a credit note/gift certificate
- Receive a monetary refund
Where possible, we are asking customers to reschedule or accept a credit note. As you will appreciate, we are in an unprecedented trading environment and we are very grateful for customers who can commit to come again in the future and hold their credit with us. If you need a monetary refund, we will ensure this is processed within 30 days of your request.
Credit note and refund requests should be sent by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, quoting your booking reference. Requests will be processed in the order in which they are received. If you'd like to reschedule, e-mail us a contact telephone number and booking reference and we'll call you within 48 hours.
What happens if I have a booking later in the year?
We hope it will be safe to resume operations in time for your booking, so please just sit tight and we’ll be in touch if the situation changes. However, if you are not able to wait, our standard cancellation policy still applies, you can read this at: cbkadventure.co.uk/terms.
